PMG and the LET: A winning partnership

In the long-standing relationship PMG has coveted with the Ladies European Tour, a renegotiated contract has been signed, providing the Group with extensive involvement in ladies golf.

Alexandra Armas Executive Director of LET said, ‘Parallel Media have proven experience in the golf industry worldwide and we are delighted to continue our partnership’.

This contract includes exclusive international TV rights, an increased commission scale of 30 percent and the creation of a new LET tournament.

‘We are delighted to reach a new agreement which I believe, very much plays to both parties’ strengths’, said David Ciclitira, Chairman of PMG.

Since 2003, PMG has acted as the exclusive commercial partner and TV rights broker.  Under the new agreement, PMG will continue as the exclusive international TV rights broker until 2013 with an option to extend the contract to 2016.

PMG will continue to be the non-exclusive partner for sales and sponsorship and the exclusive promoter of the LET in Korea.

In partnership with JGolf and Sportizen, PMG is the promoter of the new LET event called the Saint Four Ladies’ Masters taking place in Korea, from November 14 - 16, 2008, co-sanctioned by the LET and the KLPGA.

This is the first LET event in Korea and has also increased the overall LET calendar to a total of 29 events, the most in its history. The title sponsor of the new tournament will be Saint Four Golf Club, the host venue located on the scenic Jeju Island, Korea.

In addition to the Saint Four Ladies Masters, the LET is setting aside another date for a PME-promoted event in Asia.
