PMG, working with its Korean partners Sportizen and JGolf, has announced a new title sponsor for its co-sanctioned Ladies European Tour (“LET”) and KLPGA tournament.

Saint Four Golf Club, the luxury five-star golf resort on Jeju Island, located off the south coast of mainland Korea, has become the title sponsor of the Saint Four Ladies Masters in Jeju.

 

The Saint Four Ladies Masters in Jeju will be played from November 14-16, 2008 and will boast a prize purse of US$300,000. Saint Four will also act as the host venue of the first ever Ladies European Tour tournament to be played in Korea.

 

‘We see Korea as a major market force for the future of PMG. The Saint Four Ladies Masters in Jeju will showcase the best of ladies’ European and Korean golf talent and following on from the success of the Ballantine’s Championship further strengthens PMG’s position within golf in Korea’, said David Ciclitira, Chairman of PMG.

The Saint Four Ladies Masters will see Europe’s best lady golfers compete against Korea’s star players with the current Ladies European Tour Order of Merit leader, Gwladys Nocera looking to extend her lead over the chasing pack as the season draws to a close.

 

PMG are the exclusive International TV rights broker to the LET and continue to also act as their non-exclusive sales partner. PMG are also the exclusive promoter of the LET in Korea.
