David Ciclitira

Chairman

David holds an LLB from Kings College London, and is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Art. He is a Blackstone exhibitor and qualified barrister at law.

David was one of the four original shareholders of Europe’s first satellite television station, Satellite Television Plc, ('SATV'), which was renamed Sky following the sale in 1983 of 65% of SATV to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. David remained with Sky as Deputy Managing Director until the end of 1986 when he left to found the original PMG with Mike Luckwell of Carlton Communications Plc. David, with 22 years industry experience, has led PMG since its foundation, developing it into a multinational group with an exceptional understanding of the issues facing the business and the sector in general.

Martin Capstick

Managing Director of Parallel Media Hong Kong

With over 20 years sales & marketing experience, Martin has worked in the field of Sports Marketing in Asia for the past 12 years. Through his involvement in over 50 golf tournaments throughout 9 different countries, including the promotion of 15 PGA European Tour events, Martin can lay claim to a unique contribution to the development of the professional game in Asia.

Martin has been responsible for the development of one of Asia’s leading tournaments; the UBS Hong Kong Open, and is the creator of the TCL Classic, the first and only Chinese sponsored event on the PGA European Tour.

Sonia Hong

President of Parallel Media Korea

Sonia joined in March 2011 to be in charge of Parallel Media Group Korea office.

Sonia was a Secretary General of Visit Korea Year 2010- 2012. Prior to Visit Korea she was President of International Tourism Network (ITN) in Seoul, opening an international representative office for Las Vegas tourism commission to market Las Vegas and Nevada to Korean visitors and travel industry professionals. Sonia has lived in Korea since 1988, where she arrived to work with Airway Express and Lep International, a JV in Korea. She has also worked for Cathay Pacific Airways, United Airlines and Korean Air in prior to moving to Korea.

In 1993, she opened the New Zealand Tourist Board's Korean office, which she built up successfully over more than 13 years.

Sonia is a San Francisco native, a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (with a major in political economics) with a Master's Degree from Columbia University Graduate School. She also majored in tourism at the Soon Chung Hyang Graduate School in Seoul

Amelia Wix

Amelia graduated from Newcastle Universtiy with a BSc in Marketing. Before joining PMG her most recent role being at UBS where she worked in private client investment management.

Alan Carri

Head of Golf

Working with PMG since graduating from University in 2007, Alan's initial position with PMG was that of Graduate Assistant. Within a year Alan was promoted to the position of Event Manager and latterly Head of Golf responsible for Ladies European Tour TV distribution and Event Manager of the Kazakhstan Open.

Liz Roberts

Legal Counsel

Liz Roberts is an English solicitor who has worked with Parallel Media Group plc, as Legal Consultant, since 1st May 2005. Liz drafts the Group’s commercial contracts including, in particular, its sponsorship agreements. Prior to working with PMG Liz was General Counsel for the sponsor of major international sports properties focussing primarily on Formula 1. In January 2000 Liz set up Sportsunite, a sport and media consultancy based in Monaco with clients in the UK, China, Monaco and elsewhere. Before its move to Dubai Liz advised the International Cricket Council (ICC) on its commercial contracts.
