The Kazakhstan Open is a men's professional golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, the official developmental tour of the PGA European Tour. First played in 2005, it was held at the Nurtau Golf Club in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the first four editions before moving to the Zhailjau Golf Resort, where the 2012 tournament will be held. In June, PMG staged Premier League Golf, a celebrity golf event held in Singapore. The event was held at Marina Bay Sands and featured legends from the world of football, including: Rio Ferdinand, Peter Crouch, Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke and Ian Wright. The players participated in football clinics with students from Marina Bay Sands designated charities who were taught the art of dribbling, heading and penalty shooting.
In January 2013, PMG launched the Prudential Causeway Trophy, a newly created annual golf event played in a Ryder Cup format between professional golfers from Singapore and Malaysia. The tournament, which is due to take place at the prestigious Laguna National Golf and Country Club in Singapore from from 7-9 June 2013, will be co-sanctioned by the Singapore Professional Golfers' Association (Singapore PGA) and the Professional Golf Association of Malaysia (PGA Malaysia)
In 2012 PMG promoted the ADT Caps Championship, the season ending finale for the KLPGA Tour, held at the world-famous Laguna National Golf and Country Club in Singapore. The ADT Caps Championship represented the first time that a KLPGA-sanctioned tournament has been staged at a destination outside Korea.
In 2008, PMG launched the Ballantine’s Championship, Korea’s largest Golf Tournament, which is co-sanctioned by the European Tour, the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour. The Ballantine’s Championship attracts some of the world’s leading golfers,and previous star players have included Rory McIlroy, Fred Couples, Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Lee Westwood, Dustin Johnson, YE Yang, Padraig Harrington, and KJ Choi. The 2012 Ballantine’s Championship attracted record crowds of over 45,000 people, and 2013 saw Ballantine's bringing their sponsorship of the tournament to a close in dramatic style, when Brett Rumford soared to victory with an eagle in the play-off. From 2014 onwards, Ballantine's have decided to focus their golf sponsorship in China. The Championship will continue in 2014, and Parallel Media Group are working closely with the European Tour to find a world-class venue for the tournament.
